Carpentry

CARPENTRY 1 & 2 – 600 hrs & 600 hrs

The Carpentry 1 and 2 programs prepare students for employment in the carpentry industry by teaching the skills of cutting, shaping, and installing building materials during the construction of buildings, ships, timber bridges, concrete formwork, etc. Also, the students will understand all concepts of the carpentry industry, and demonstrate such elements of the industry as planning, management, finance, technical and production skills, underlying principles of technology, labor issues, community issues, and health, safety, and environmental issues.
