Automotive Maintenance & Light Repair – 600 Hours
Description of Program The Automotive Maintenance and Light Repair program focuses on the knowledge and skills needed to work on a variety of systems such as engine, drivetrain, brakes, electrical, and steer & suspension. Students learn to conduct basic repairs and maintenance on automobiles and light truck systems. This program is designed for those who wish to be certified in basic entry skills as a service technician. This certificate will aid students in obtaining an entry-level position at either a dealership or an independent repair facility. Upon completion, the goal is to give the technician well-rounded entry-level knowledge in all 8 of the areas that are covered under the industry standard of Automotive Service Excellence (ASE).
